The Breakdown

Yawn. Wake me up when the video is over. Look, the track is catchy enough to do numbers on TikTok, but this visual is aggressively boring. The "unexpected duo looking tough in a gritty setting" trope has been done to death.

It gives absolutely nothing new to the culture. YB drops 400 songs a year, so we know he’s just feeding the algorithm at this point, but Coi needed to step on their necks with the treatment and she just... didn't. When you link up with one of the most prolific artists breathing, you have to bring more to the table than just standing in front of a camera looking nonchalant.

• Track Rating (6/10): A catchy factory-line bop, but nothing you haven't heard before. The chemistry is alright, but the bars are forgettable.
• Visuals Rating (2/10): I am begging these artists to hire real creative directors again. Complete snoozefest.
